Our Story

Ma’ House was born in 2017, at around the same time as I was born, into a new mother.  A simple idea that came out of the need of being myself and caring for my changing body and mind, while morphing into my new being.  I will never forget a conversation I had with a then new friend (an equally new mum I met at my antenatal course) where we agreed to take turns looking after each other’s babies while the other would go and have some “me time”, which for me meant visiting my hairdresser! I thought to myself “surely there must be a place where we could both go for our “me time” together, whilst having our babies being looked after by qualified nannies, also in the same place?”  No, there wasn’t!  And I knew it right then that I had to create such a place.

Our Story

From the initial plans of being mainly a physical hub with a Crèche, Café, Spa & Wellness rooms, and Co-working space to offer all mothers the opportunity to have some “me time” however she pleases, Ma’ House has certainly had its challenges and setbacks.  Today, although not yet the final product of what it will certainly be one day, Ma’ House has evolved to become an inspirational and safe hub bridging the gap between the physical and the digital world which very much reflects our new normal.  

Ma’ House is more than just a wellness and beauty club.  Ma’ House is a sisterhood where like-minded mothers connect, share, and learn from each other.  It is a community of women who are passionate about supporting and elevating other women and that, to me, is a precious thing to be a part of.

In all that we do we are about evolving, reinventing ourselves, adapting, and creatively convert every setback into a challenge, a goal, and a success.  We do so passionately in our quest to always put number one first (the mother), because let’s face it… mothers make the world go round!
