This highly specialised physiotherapy programme incorporates techniques from yoga and pilates as well as applied physiotherapy. New moms should use this as a stepping stone and accompaniment towards more intense and powerful exercises. It is tailored particularly to support women after delivery although pregnant women can also benefit from it particularly if they experience pelvic girdle pain. You will have a consultation with our physiotherapist who will assess your needs in a holistic way, looking at your lifestyle and any existing issues such as diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, etc, and then develop an individualized plan based on what is realistically feasible according to your lifestyle and daily demands. We recommend having a mommy MOT first so that our physiotherapist can use your MOT report to inform her assessment. Hypopressive Training is particularly effective for:
